We cannot guarantee early check-in, but we’re happy to store your luggage safely until your room is ready.
PETS
We’re delighted to welcome four-legged guests to the hotel. A limited number of pet-friendly rooms are available, so please let us know at the time of booking. A charge of £25 per pet, per stay applies.
For the comfort of all our guests, please note that our Junior Suites are not pet-friendly.
PARKING
Parking is available in Zone H and on surrounding streets. Permits can be arranged through Reception at £7.50 per day.
Alternatively, Sandgate Road Car Park is an underground facility just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. It is open from 8AM – 9PM daily. Overnight parking is permitted, but access is only possible from 8AM the following morning. For details, please contact the car park directly.
If arriving after 8PM: on-street parking is free until 8AM the next day. If you require a permit from 8AM onwards, please complete the form at Reception and we’ll add this to your booking.
THE CLIFFE LOUNGE BAR & KITCHEN
Come and dine with us at The Cliffe Lounge Bar & Kitchen, where great food, warm service, and a lively atmosphere await.
We serve Dinner only, Monday to Friday, and both Lunch and Dinner on Saturdays and Sundays. Afternoon Teas are available with 24 hours’ notice, the perfect indulgence for a special treat.
Our bar is fully stocked with soft and alcoholic beverages, alongside contemporary cocktails for every taste. Comfortable seating and a relaxed setting make it the ideal place to unwind.
The Cliffe is popular during peak times, so we recommend calling us on 01303 847 880 or asking our Reception Team to check availability.
HOUSEKEEPING
Our Housekeeping Team refreshes rooms daily between 9AM and 1PM. If your Do Not Disturb sign is displayed, they’ll return later, up until 1PM.
Lower Ground Floor Apartments are serviced every three days, with fresh towels and amenities provided as needed in the meantime.
For anything outside these hours, including extra towels, toiletries, or other requests, please contact Reception.
SMOKING
The View Hotel is a strictly non-smoking property. A £200 penalty will be applied if this policy is not adhered to. Designated smoking areas are available outside, including our terraces.
